Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) Outreach Team is seeking a Kaiawhina to improve participation in the National Bowel Screening Programme, particularly for those Maori and Pacific Island peoples referred to our Outreach Team for follow up. You will also be supporting the Outreach Service to promote other population health screening services, such as cervical and breast screening.
The position is centred on tracking, provision of education and supporting Whanganui District Health Board regions’ 60-74 year olds to participate in the National Bowel Screening Programme.
WRHN is looking for someone who is passionate in promoting health equity, is client focused and has had previous experience working within a community setting. This a part time position, working preferably Thursdays and Fridays.
